A very Merry Christmas!

I have to get on and tell all of you wonderful people in our lives Merry Christmas! I would normally do this in a card that I actually send to your house, but time just did not allow this year. I spent some quality time with my dad after he had sugery last week and I just did not get around to getting my cards out. The saddest part is they are so cute and homemade! I hope that all of you will enjoy them next year! I would post a picture of them on the blog, but my scanner is on the fritz... so just think in your mind how wonderful it would be to actually have one with you! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Prayers needed

I haven't gone blogging much over the past few weeks until tonight. I sat reading and laughing UNTIL I read my friend Jill's latest entry. To make really long story short, Jill has been diagnosed with a Brain Tumor. She went into the ER on Thanksgiving and here she is barely a week later with shocking news. I have known Jill for quite a few years and if anyone can handle it, it would be Jill. We knew each other early on in nursing school and worked together at the University of Utah hospital for about 4 years. She is an AMAZING nurse, MOTHER, WIFE and FRIEND. Please keep her and her young family in your prayers at this scary time. She needs all of the love and support that she can get. It just makes me think that this could be any of us or our spouses. Luckily, she has a great suppry system and a lot of resources as a nurse and treatment is moving quickly. We love you Jill!
